PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a modified fluororesin molding which is modified by radiation cross-linking, is in the form of a film, a sheet, or the like in a thickness of 300μm or lower, and has a smooth surface and a uniform thickness. SOLUTION: After a material prepared by coating a substrate comprising a metal, a ceramic, or a polymer material in the form of a plate, a foil, or a tube with a fluororesin powder or by covering the substrate by lining or coating with a fluororesin is cross-linked by the irradiation with an ionizing radiation at the melting point of the fluororesin or lower in the absence of oxygen, the resultant modified fluororesin is peeled or separated from the substrate in air or in a solution or the substrate is dissolved, thus giving a molding in the form of a film, a sheet, a tube, or the like having a smooth surface and a uniform and small thickness.
