PURPOSE: A touch panel is provided so that distortion of an upper plate can be prevented when the upper plate and lower plate are bonded, by compensating for step difference generated on a two-surface adhesive tape for bonding by using a two-surface adhesive tape for compensating for the step difference. CONSTITUTION: Parallel electrodes are formed on a substrate(11). An upper plate(12) is installed on the substrate(11). Electrodes are formed on the upper plate(12). A flexible printed cable(13) connects the electrodes to an external circuit. Y1 electrode(16) and Y2 electrode(17) which are in parallel to each other are formed on the top surface of the substrate(11). On the other hand, X1 electrode(14) and X2 electrode(15) which are in parallel to each other are formed on the bottom surface of the upper plate(12), and connected to a terminal unit(20) through interconnection units(18, 19). Transparent conductive films are formed on the top surface of the substrate(11) and the bottom surface of the upper plate(12) to correspond to the respective electrodes. The upper plate(12) and the substrate(11) are bonded by using a two-surface adhesive tape(25). The two-surface adhesive tape(25) is adhered at the edge portions between the substrate(11) and the upper plate(12). |
