PURPOSE: A book holder having a lamp is provided to let an occupant comfortably read a book by having a book holder adjusted to the physical condition and stance of the occupant and lighting up the surrounding of a book employing a lamp. CONSTITUTION: A book holder having a lamp is received at the front passenger's position of a crash pad(1). The book holder comprises a support unit(2) constituted of a support plate(2a) having a front support ledge(2b) and a displacement preventing ledge(2c) and lamp units(3) installed on both sides of the support plate to light up the surrounding of a book. Upon pulling out the front support ledge of the support unit, the support plate is withdrawn slantingly. Placing the book on the support plate, an occupant comfortably reads the book. The lights of the lamp units light up only the surrounding of the book. Accordingly, a driver is not interrupted by the lights.
