摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a throttle control device for an engine to be high in the degree of freedom on an arrangement position and enable easy security of an arrangement space. SOLUTION: In this throttle control device 3 for an engine to control the opening of throttle valve 2 based on a throttle opening closing input through artificial operation of a throttle member 1, a pulley 6 on the input side and a pulley 7 on the output side are intercoupled through an arm ratio varying mechanism 5 constituted such that an arm ratio is variable. The pulley 6 on the input side is coupled to the throttle member 1 through a cable 4 on the input side and the pulley 7 on the output side is coupled to the throttle valve 2 through a cable 8 on the output side. The throttle control device comprises an actuator 14 to change the arm ratio of the arm ratio varying mechanism 5; and an arm ratio control means 18 to control the actuator 14 such that the arm ratio is adjusted to an arm ratio responding to the operation state of the engine.
