PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aluminum-plated steel sheet for a fuel tank that is free from swelling and dissolution of a resin film effective for enhancing galling- resistance and that is excellent in formability and corrosion resistance. SOLUTION: In this aluminum-plated steel sheet, the surface of the steel sheet is successively formed with an Al-Si-plated layer containing 5 to 13% Si, an alkali soluble resin film with a film thickness of 0.1 to 5.0μm and a water soluble oil film having the coating weight of 0.1 to 3.0 g/m2 and <=8.0 pH. The resin film is formed by applying and baking an alkali soluble resin coating material such as an acrylic resin and an urethane resin. As the oil film formed on the resin film, water soluble lubricating oil obtained by suitably blending a rust preventive, a consistency enhancing agent, an acid neutralizer, a coagulated water dispersant or the like into base oil such as petroleum mineral oil, animal and vegitable oil and synthetic oil is used.
