PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a terminal for a lead-acid battery, which is superior in clamping strength without complicating the terminal shape. SOLUTION: In the terminal for the lead-acid battery equipped with a terminal member 1 consisting of a bolt head 1b and a terminal 1a, an electro- conductive member 2 which has been screwed into the terminal 1a, and a lead bushing 3 into which the bolt head 1b and the electro-conductive member 2 have been embedded, the electro-conductive member 2 is plated with a lead-tin alloy including not less than 70 wt.% of tin.
