PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stable automatic unsealing device for a seal free from failure such as erroneous unsealing or overload to a driving motor by driving a take-up shaft only as necessary. SOLUTION: When the process cartridge is inserted in a device main body, a slide gear 65 is butted against a projection part 30b, slides by a specified amount and is meshed with a gear 12d, so that driving is transmitted to the take-up shaft through a rocking unit 66 and a gear 43b. When the take-up shaft is rotated by specified number of times and a toner sealing member is taken up thereafter, a cam part 67c having a Geneva mechanism 67 interrupts the meshing of a gear 66b2 with a gear 43b2, whereby the transmission of the driving to the take-up shaft is released. |
