PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical connector that prevents an optical fiber from breaking or being disconnected even under an unexpected stress, that simplifies attachment/detachment of the connector as well as replacement of parts, and that enhances productivity. SOLUTION: The optical connector (10) is constituted by joining one or more connector elements (12). The adjacent connector elements (12) are joined by fitting the spherical optical outputting part (18) of an upper level element (12) to the spherical recess (20) of a lower level element (12). The adjacent elements (12) can mutually move at wide angles, imparting no stress to the optical fibers (14).
