PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joining method which is capable of performing joint at a low temperature and forms a joint part having high heat resistance. SOLUTION: Two or more members 1 composed of copper or glass coated with the copper in the whole or part of its surface, ceramics or metals exclusive of the copper are arranged across an indium-tin alloy 4 in such a manner that the indium-tin alloy comes into contact with the surface of the copper or copper coating. These two or more members are joined by melting the indium-tin alloy, then cooling the same and further, the joined body is fixed in such a manner that the respective members are not detached from each other and is heat treated. More particularly the supply of the copper is adequately performed.
