PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the structure of an injection sleeve for die casting machine which has excellent heat retaining properties for molten metal and can be manufactured at a comparatively low cost. SOLUTION: The injection sleeve is provided with a complex structure and constituted of an inner cylinder 1 and an outer cylinder 2 covering this inner peripheral surface. The inner cylinder 1 is constituted of a high silicon stainless steel or a precipitation hardening type stainless steel having comparatively low heat conductivity, and the outer cylinder 2 is constituted of a ductile cast iron. In the inner part of the outer cylinder 2, steel-made piping 3 as the flowing path for heat medium, is embedded with a cast-in method. On the inner peripheral surface of the inner cylinder 1, a nitrided layer is formed.
