The structure has a tubular, trough-shaped or box-shaped structure or a structure with a T- or U-shaped cross-section and is formed by plastics grid plates (1) connected together. The grid plates have sleeves to connect with identical or different grid plates. The sleeves are secured by pins (7) with clawed ends. The sleeves are open at both ends and have inner projections or an inner collar. Second connection devices are formed as pins (7), which have claws (10) at their free ends (9) to engage the projections on the sleeves. The pins are formed to fill half of the sleeves, so that two pins can be fitted into the same sleeve from both sides.
