PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cylinder type hydrogen recovery apparatus to be set on a gas reformer without a fixing jig. SOLUTION: The cylinder type hydrogen recovery apparatus 10 has plural stiffeners 18 arranged uniformly toward the circumferential direction between a upper disc plate 16 and a lower disc plate 17 which have openings 16a and 17a at the center respectively to pass hydrogen. A metal perforated plate 12 laminated with a hydrogen permeable membrane 13 is stuck on the cylindrical face formed with a curved face 18a or a tip face 18c of the stiffeners 18. The hydrogen gas in a space S collected through the hydrogen permeable membrane 13 is discharged from a hydrogen discharge pipe 15 to the outside of the apparatus.
