PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an olefinic elastomer composition which is highly abrasion- resistant, sufficiently flame-retardant, lightweight and useful for a protective tube of wire harnesses of automobiles. SOLUTION: This composition is prepared by compounding an olefinic elastomer containing therein a finely dispersed rubber component with, based on the composition, at least 1.1 wt.% (in terms of bromine) bromine-based flame retardant, at least 0.8 wt.% antimony trioxide, and at least 0.5 wt.% lubricant.
