PURPOSE: A card reference terminal is provided to prevent any kind of crimes and disasters including burglary, fire or gas leakage, to save extra money usually spent on a security system, and to notify the emergency to a pre-designated place much faster. CONSTITUTION: The card reference terminal for use of crime and disaster prevention consists of a central processing unit(CPU)(30), a card reader(32), a memory(31), a keyboard(33), an LCD(34), a communication port(35), and a printer(36). The CPU(30) outputs data provided from the card reader(32) and the keyboard(33) to the host(37) through the communication port(35), receives a processing result of the host(37) and a detection signal from a sensor(38) that detects an accident like burglary, fire or gas leakage, outputs a control signal to operate an alarm(39), and outputs the pre-inputted alarm occurrence in a memory(31) to a pre-designated place through the communication port(35). The memory(31) saves data necessary to prevent crimes and disasters as well as data for referring the card in normal occasions, and the keyboard(33) is connected to the CPU(30) for use of card reference and a means of inputting signals in connection with operation or cancellation of security system. Also, the LCD(34) displays the processing result of the host(37) and alarm sending message. Finally, the communication port(35) sends the alarm generation message from the CPU(30) to a pre-designated place.
