PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the solvent resistance at the time of performing powder application in a coated material and a coating method. SOLUTION: Power paint is applied on a metallic material to be coated, the applied powder paints is baked and hardened, a baking type liquid coating material having solvent resistance is applied on the hardened power paint and the applied liquid coating material is baked and hardener. Alternatively, a cold setting type liquid coating material having solvent resistance is applied on the hardened power paint and the applied liquid coating material is hardened at room temperature. The baking and hardening of the power paint can be performed at >=120 deg.C and the baking and hardening of the liquid coating material can be performed at 90-120 deg.C.
