A hydrogen flame luminosity analyzing method for a thin-layer chromatograph comprising: the step of burning the substances, as separated to be analyzed by the thin-laye r chromatography, sequentially with a hydrogen frame by moving the thin-layer chromatography and the hydrogen flame at predetermined relative velocities; and the step of analyzing the intensities at specific wavelengths of the luminous light from the flame. The analyzer and the analyzing method can perform stable and precise singular analyses of heterogeneous elements.</SDO AB>
