PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a frame with earthquake-resisting performance even if it is difficult to connect a brace to a column-to-beam joint in view of the prevention of breaking of the joint. SOLUTION: Knee braces 3 and 3 are extended between the mid-height portion of a column 1 and a beam 2 located immediately thereabove, and/or between the mid-height portion and another beam 2 located immediately therebelow.
