<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a convenient putter head and a putter capable of facilitating alignment, and being excellent in directivity and rectilinear advance. SOLUTION: The head 2 has an outer surface surrounded by seven planes in total: a face 22, a first sole 24 at the right base seen from the face 22 side, a second sole 25 at the left base, a first top 26 at the left top face, a second top 27 at the right top face, and two side surfaces constituting both right and left end parts, and has a designated thickness in the normal direction inside each plane. A thick rib 23 is formed with a width larger than the diameter of a shaft fitting part 21 of the upper part of the head, with such a height not to be in contact with a first sole part 31 and a second sole part 32, and with a length extending from the back of the face 22 to a back face 34. A grip 4 is long-cylindrical, the side surface of which is provided with two sets of parallel planes and the base of which is provided with a first annular projecting part having a width larger than the outside diameter of the shaft 6 and a designated height.</p> |
