<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance gas cooling efficiency of a gas generator which has plural combustion chambers and is capable of effectively utilizing regions of different filters (regions of a relatively low temperature where combustion gases do not relatively flow) as cooling means. SOLUTION: The outer shell of the combustion chamber of the gas generator 200 comprises a base 210 like a vessel opened at its top and a cup 220 like a vessel opened at its bottom. A filter cup 240 is fastened to the upper side of the cup 220, by which a filter chamber 270 is formed. A filter 271 is arranged therein. The outer side of the pipe 230 is the first combustion chamber 250 and the inner side of the pipe 230 is the second combustion chamber 260. The filter chamber 270 side is stuck with a fourth shim 224 so as to prevent the inflow of the combustion gases spouting out of the first orifice 221 into the second combustion chamber 260.</p> |
