PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve visibility of a semi-translucent display part of an indicator lamp besides elongation of life of a light source. SOLUTION: The indicator lamp 10 is structured so that a light source unit 18A, 18B is contained in each of the two light chambers 16A, 16B formed with a housing 12 and a front cover 14. Each light source 26A, 26B constituting each light source unit 18A, 18B comprises a green color light-emitting diode 30 and tow red color light-emitting diodes 32, a simultaneous lighting of which three diodes 30, 32 gives birth to a mixed color light emission nearest to an incandescent lamp color. With this, life of the light source is elongated substantially in comparison with the case where an incandescent lamp or a white-color- light-emitting diode is used. Further, the visibility is improved by irradiating the semi-translucent display parts 34A, 34B formed on the front cover 14 with soft light of warm color series such as that of an incandescent lamp. |
