PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gasket 1 that is mounted between a pair of members 51 and 52 having mutually communicated flow passages 53 and 54, seals fluid flowing through the flow passages 53 and 54, can exhibit good pressure resistance, can set dimension accuracy and assembling accuracy of the pair of members 51 and 52 to be relatively low, and can be mounted between both members 51 and 52 even when the pair of members 51 and 52 are not positioned accurately. SOLUTION: This gasket comprises an annular reinforcing member 2 and a rubber-like elastic body 3 integrally molded on the reinforcing member 2. One axial end of the gasket is provided with an insert part 4 pressed into a flow passage opening 57 of one member 51, the other axial end of the gasket is provided with an inward lip 5 adhering to an end surface part 59 of the other member 52, and an axial end of the reinforcing member 2 is provided with a backup part 11 for backing up the inward lip 5.
