<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handrail for fittings, installed in the fittings. SOLUTION: The handrail 10 for the fittings is provided with a storage means and a lock mechanism. The storage means allows a handrail body 11 to be protruded relative to a door 1 serving as the fittings so as to be made approximately horizontal and have about the same height as the handrail 3 of a wall only in use and permits the handrail body 11 to be rotated on a rotatably attached shaft 13 in disuse for the purpose of housing the handrail body 11 in the door 1. The lock mechanism indicates that the handrail 10 is used on the other side of the door 1 or allows a doorknob 2 to be locked so as to prevent the door 1 from being immediately opened in the use of the handrail 10. Consequently, such a constitution of the handrail 10 brings about the effect of improving the safety of walking of the elderly, etc.</p> |
