The stacking plant consists of one or more ratchet stores with two adjustable ratchet planes located one above the other. A transfer device of the transfer press is extended up to the ratchet store. A lifting device located below the last transfer station for the lifting of the sheet metal parts into the ratchet store. An industrial robot is mounted over the ratchet store. The workpiece supports of the extended transfer device (11) and the lifting device (10), the ratchet store and the removal gripper (4) of the industrial robot (3) are located in a rapid exchangeable fashion in or on a wagon (9) that can travel in the transfer direction.
