PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid dispensing device capable of opening and closing the lid of a container with a simple constitution and by a simple control. SOLUTION: In this liquid dispensing device, a liquid contained in the container installed in a vessel installation part is sucked and dispensed by a dispensing mechanism part equipped with a dispensing pipette, a lifting means for lifting the dispensing pipette, a base for holding the lifting means, and a base moving means for moving the base. The device is characterized by coupling the lid openable and closable by a rotation fulcrum with the vessel, forming a pawl part projecting to the outside on the lid, and forming a projecting part on the base of the dispensing mechanism, capable of opening the lid of the container and keeping the opened state by pressing and moving the pawl part of the lid of the container to the rotation fulcrum side following relative means of a base part with respect to the container.
