PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a displacement sensor which can carry out a measurement process in various manners with a high-speed response by obtaining image data from a slim visual field by a necessary resolution at high speeds and can be manufactured at low costs. SOLUTION: In this displacement sensor, an imaging part has a group of photodetecting pixels arranged in matrix corresponding to a visual field of a standard imaging device, vertical shift registers of each array, horizontal shift registers for sequentially receiving outputs of the vertical shift registers of each array from a head. A front stage optical black pixel region and a rear stage optical black pixel region are set, whereby a two-dimensional imaging element having a photosensitive pixel region formed to a specific horizontal line band of a width sufficiently narrower than a total number of horizontal lines and a driving control part for controlling an operation of taking charges from the photodetecting pixel group to the vertical shift registers of each array, a transferring operation of the vertical shift registers, and a transferring operation of the horizontal shift registers on the basis of ordered charge transfer specifications are included between the black pixel regions. Moreover, an image-processing part includes a charge transfer specifications-ordering means for feeding charge transfer specifications conforming to image-processing contents to the driving control part of the imaging part.
