A polymer chocolate mould has a marking applied to it by a laser burning the polymer to a depth of approximately 2.5 mm. The heat from the laser alters the colour of the polymers to leave a visible mark of where the laser has burnt. The mark can be a bar code, a date or writing for instance. The laser may expand to the region of the mould that has been burnt or subject to heat. <IMAGE> |
