PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To execute excellent image formation stably, without scratching the image carrier by crushed carriers, in the image forming device adopting the contact transfer charging system 54 as a transferring means of the developer image from the image carrier 1 to a recording medium, with use of the contact charging device 2 of the magnetic brush system as the charging means for the image carrier 1. SOLUTION: The pressure of the contact transfer charging means 54 to the image carrier is >=1 g/cm and <=100 g/cm in terms of linear pressure. |
