<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing unit that operates in the mode adapted to the mounted cartridge among the plural cartridges built in different kinds of memory. SOLUTION: The information processing unit (AGB) operates mounting either the first cartridge (100A) that stores the first memory (11A) driving with the first voltage (3.3 V) or the second cartridge (100C) with partially different shape that stores the second memory (11C) driving at the second voltage (5 V) exclusively with easy attachment or detachment. In the information processing unit (AGB), a shape identifying unit (30) identifies the difference of shapes (100n) between the first and the second cartridges (100A, 100C), a power supply unit (25C, 30) supplies the driving voltage (3.3 V, 5 V) of memories (11A, 11C) stored in the identified cartridge, and the central processing unit (230) starts in the mode corresponding to the supplied voltage (3.3 V, 5 V).</p> |
