PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a home security system with a simple configuration capable of reliably and quickly reporting a detected abnormality about the home security system, and its recording medium. SOLUTION: This home security system consists of a sensor 1 for outputting an abnormality detection signal, a portable information terminal 5 having a display screen and connected to a public network 4 and a monitoring computer 2 for transmitting alarm information to the terminal 5 through the network 4 in the case of receiving the abnormality detection signal from the sensor 1.
