<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a constant speed running control device suitable for a vehicle equipped with an electronic control throttle device, and excellent in fail-safe performance at a low cost. SOLUTION: A circuit of a normally open switch 7 that is turned ON in response to the operation of the brake is connected to a digital port 21 of a central processing unit 11, and a circuit of a normally closed switch 8 that is turned OFF in response to the operation of the brake is connected to a digital port 21 and an analog port 20 of the central processing unit 11. When, under the constant speed running control condition, the ON-state of the normally open switch 7 is detected through the digital port 21, or the OFF-state of the normally closed switch 8 is detected through the analog port 20, the constant running speed control is released. By thus way, the release of the constant speed running control by the control operation can surely be performed, irrespective of a trouble of the switch or a trouble of either the digital port or the analog port.</p> |
