<p>The inventive leading in roller box is used in rolling mills, in particular for finishing mill of mills for rolling sections and wire mills. Said box comprises a body with roller carriages arranged therein and fitted with rollers which are mounted on axes with the aid of bearings. The roller carriages are fitted with longitudinal communicating channels and the axis is fitted with axial and crosscut communicating channels. The inventive box is characterized by a novel design for a roller unit. In the first variant, the roller and the axis are embodied in an assembled form. The roller consists of two hubs which are symmetrically arranged and made of a light-metal alloy, forming a groove along an external surface in a joint thereof. A ring fitted with a caliper and made of an abrasion-resistant material, whose thickness is commensurable with the width of the caliper, is arranged inside the groove. A sleeve is placed in the orifices of the hubs. The axis is also provided with a sleeve which has an orifice aligned with the crosscut channel of the axis. Ceramic washers are placed between the butt ends of the rollers and the roller carriages. The sleeves are made of a high resistant technical ceramic material and form a plane bearing. The components of the roller and axis are rigidly fixed to each other with the aid of an adhesive, for example an epoxy adhesive. In the second variant, the axis of the leading in box is fitted with a diamond-like layer applied to a generating surface thereof instead of the sleeve.</p> |
