A riding lawn mower(10) having zero turn capabilities has the engine (24) mounted on the front (14) of the frame (12). A drive system includes first and second hydrostatic transmissions for use in driving the back wheels. A grass bag (42) may be mounted to the back portion (16) of the frame (12) and provides a counter balance to maximize the weight distribution. A discharge chute transfers cut vegetation from a mower (26) deck to the grass bag (42) and provides rear center discharge.
