PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve engine output under a specific use condition by making an exhaust system of an automobile simply selectable. SOLUTION: In an engine for automobile, a sub-exhaust system is provided in addition to an ordinary exhaust system, and a flow passage of exhaust gas can be selected by a controller provided on a driver's seat to improve exhaust efficiency of the automobile under the specific use condition such as a condition in a racing circuit.
