The invention concerns a cable or any other elongated transmission member (4) crimped (3) in the middle with an axial cavity (2) of a screw belonging to a screw-nut motion converting assembly. With such as arrangement, the bending couples exerted on the screw between the securing point of the member (4) and the nut only have a low value, thereby protecting the screw (1) against bending and sticking stresses and the whole assembly of the mechanism against excessive friction stresses. |
