PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrict the use of various distributed contents by an easy method, to remove the restrictions, and to accurately collect the charge. SOLUTION: A client 30 requests contents (musical score) and a key file from a server 10 through a communication line 20. At this request, a WEB server 11 sends the contents stored in a database 13 and a key issue server 12 sends the key file. The WEB server 11 charges the client when the key file is requested. A viewer 32 is able to display only the musical score without the key file, but becomes able to print the musical score by using the key file. The key file is generated corresponding to a random value synchronized with the purchase instruction timing of the contents.
