<p>A surgical screw-threaded fastening device comprises a surgical screw-threaded element, which is externally threaded and has a through-bore, and a surgical bio-compatible blanking plug 10 which is engageable with the screw-threaded element to prevent or substantially prevent fluid leaking through the through-bore. A surgical gripping tool in combination with such a screw-threaded fastening device, and methods of using such a surgical screw-threaded fastening device are also provided.</p> |
