PURPOSE:To eliminate the labor and cost of a key punch for collected information and the labour and cost for correcting the error of the key punch by directly reading the identification code of an existed article and interactively inputting a classification code, the name of the article, the cost and a selling price. CONSTITUTION:An individual information collection part 1A containing a means (hand scanner) 3 for reading the individual identification code of the article, a means (control mechanism) 5 for inputting the classification code of the article, the name of the article, the cost and the selling price, a means (internal memory) 4 preserving the inputted code or the like and means 5-8 which retrieves, outputs and corrects preserved information is provided. A device is constituted in such a way that it is provided with a master file generation part 2 containing means 9A, 9B accumulating article control information collected in the individual information collection part 1A, means 10 and 11 for working and preserving article control information, means 12-14 registering the code of the article having the individual identification code, which is not collected from the individual information collection part 1A, and means 11-14 which retrieves, outputs and corrects registered and collected article control information. Thus, labor and cost for inputting information to an electronic computer system and labor required for the correction work of the input error accompanied by the input of the code are eliminated. |
