PURPOSE:To provide a intermittently rotatingly driven type blow molder, in witch the stopping angle, acceleration, deceleration of a rotary platen and its speed and time in low speed region can be changed at will. CONSTITUTION:On a base, an injection molding station, a temperature controlling station, a blow molding station and an ejecting station are provided. In upper regions corresponding to the respective stations, holding plates, with which neck cavity molds are held, are held so as to circulatingly convey the neck cavity molds to the respective stations through intermittent rotating driving. A rotary platen 6, on which a first gear 40 is formed, is provided. The rotary platen 6 is supported by an upper base platen 4 and intermittently rotatingly driven by a pulse motor 20. The output mechanism of the pulse motor 20 is reduced in speed with a speed reducer 24. A second gear fixed to the output shaft 26 of the output mechanism engages with the first gear 40 on the rotary platen 6. After the rotary platen 6 arrives its stop position, a locking pin 50, with which the rotary platen 6 and the upper base platen 4 and positioned to each other, is driven by an air cylinder 52, resulting in positioning the platens. |
