PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a fish bank block capable of making aquatic plants adhere and grow and providing the suitable environment for growing fishes and shellfishes even when a hardened product obtained by using a steelmaking slag as a raw material is used in place of a concrete product. SOLUTION: This fish bank block built under the seawater is characterized in that the block is formed by kneading a mixture of a granular-type preliminarily treated slag for melting pig iron containing 2-10 mass % of P2O5 and 1-5 mass % of metallic iron and a fine powder of a blast furnace slag with water and hardening.
