PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electron emitting element structure capable of attaining a large operating current at a low operating voltage and of keeping a stable electron emitting characteristics. SOLUTION: The electron emitting element comprises a cold cathode material using mixed particles of No.1 particle for electron emission to the space and No.2 particle staying near No.1 particle and controlling the posture of No.1 particle. It is desirable in this structure that No.1 particle has a higher electron emitting efficiency than No.2 particle and that No.2 particle has current conductivity.
