PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information service system capable of making good use of mail information, and maintaining sufficient secrecy, and preventing any illegal use. SOLUTION: This system is provided with plural terminal data equipment to be used by each of plural subscribers, an information service system for storing information, a mail server system for performing an electronic mail service, and a digital communication system connected to each of them. In this case, mail information to be transmitted by the terminal data equipment includes preserving period information for designating preserving periods, and the information service system stores the preserving period mail information designated by the preserving period information, and accepts requests from the plural terminal data equipment corresponding to the stored information, and performs information services corresponding to the requests. |
