RADIATION IMAGE CONVERSION SCREEN AND ITS PRODUCTION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiation image conversion screen, its production method and a radiation image detector having relatively easy productivity and giving a radiation image superior in image quality. SOLUTION: A radiation image conversion screen and a two-dimensional photodetector are used in combination for a method for radiation image formation. In the radiation image conversion screen, stripe fluorescent layers consisting of stripe partition walls finely partitioning along plane direction in one dimension and a fluorescent body charging region partitioned with the partition walls are piled and the stripe partition walls of adjacent fluorescent layers cross perpendicularly or with an angle of approximately 60 deg..
