PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for working load tasks among many storage device controllers to many processors. SOLUTION: A data access distributor receives a request for executing a data access task (220). The request is received by 1st processors (186, 188), which specifie a processor suited to process the request (222). When the 1st processors (186, 188) are suited to process the request, the processors (186, 188) process the request (228). When the 1st processors (186, 188) are not suited to process the request, the 1st processors (186, 188) transfer the request to processors suitable for the processing. Thus the 1st processors (186, 188) specifie the suitable processors by retrieving data from a table (196) for specifying the types of data access tasks processed by respective processors.
