PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas cock equipped with a male screw part 30 formed at outer periphery of a plug 31 for a plug thread engagement hole 13 formed in a gas cock main body 11 and threadedly engaged while an adhesive is applied and a packing provided closely between a region to be sealed which is outer periphery of the plug 31 and out of a formation region of the male screw part 30 and a constituent wall of the gas cock main body 11 to prevent the adhesive applied to a thread engagement part of the gas cock main body 11 and the plug thread engagement hole 13 when the gas cock is assembled from entering a gas seal part and adhering by the packing so as to suppress hardening and deterioration of quality of the packing. SOLUTION: The packing is provided with a main annular packing part 42 interposed in an air-tight condition between the region to be sealed and the constituent wall of the gas cock main body 11 and an auxiliary annular packing part 43 interposed in a liquid-tight condition in a clearance between an outer face of the plug 31 between the region to be sealed and the male screw part 30 and the constituent wall of the gas cock main body 11.
