A child car seat 10 comprises a seat body including a seat back 10B and a seat portion 10S which comprises a first fixed base 12 connected to the seat back 10B, and a second base 12M connected, and moveable relative, to the first fixed base 12. The first and second bases 12, 12M together form a size adjustable seating surface upon which a child may sit, possibly with the second base 12M extendable from the first base 12 horizontally in a drawer like manner. A simple screw based mechanism (fig.5) may allow for extension of the second moveable base portion 12M. The angle of the entire seat may be adjustable relative to the surface to which it is mounted (fig.3A). The seat may further feature an adjustable headrest 140 and adjustable armrests 20. Also disclosed is a shoulder clip (fig. 14) which can be mounted to a child car seat for receiving a shoulder strap portion of a car seat belt. |
