PURPOSE: A box having a box opening element and a method for forming the box opening element are provided to easily and speedily opening a box without using any additional tool for opening the box by forming the box opening element on the box to be partially covered by an adhesive tape for separating the adhesive tape from the box. CONSTITUTION: A box having a box opening element includes four side surfaces(25-2,25-3), a bottom surface, a pair of inner covers and a pair of outer covers(23) extended from each upper side of the side surfaces, a separation line(27) formed in the center of a top surface formed by the outer covers contacting each other to be sealed by an adhesive tape, and a box opening element partially covered by an end of the adhesive tape for separating the adhesive tape from the top surface of the box when the box opening element is separated from the box, wherein the box opening element includes an adhesive side and a non-adhesive side to be attached to the box.
