PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the yield of a molten resin in an apparatus for molding a synthetic resin molding by a molten resin sheet extruded from a resin supply mechanism. SOLUTION: A molding mold 20 is moved vertically by a lifter, and guide rails 14 of a pair are fixed to be positioned close to both sides of the molding surface of the elevated molding mold. The resin supply mechanism 55 for extruding the molten resin sheet 50 covering the molding surface 21 of the molding mold approaches one side of the elevated molding mold to be fixed, and a clamp mechanism 40 which is guided/supported by each guide rail at approximately the same height with that of the resin supply mechanism is moved forward/backward by a movement apparatus 45. While the molding mold is brought down, the clamp mechanism clamps the tip part of the resin sheet extruded from the resin supply mechanism and is brought back by the movement apparatus to stretch the sheet above the molding mold, and the sheet is contacted with the molding surface of the elevated molding mold to be molded.
