PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a rapid prediction of a deformation amount by reducing a calculating amount in the case of predicting and calculating the deformation amounts of a mold and a mold machine in a working process using an injection molding method. SOLUTION: A method for predicting a deformation comprises the step of forming a simplified rigidity matrix (D3) based on data (D1) of the mold and a molding machine model divided into small amounts of elements (S1). The method also comprises the step of calculating a cavity surface resin pressure (D6) based on data (D2) of a molding shape model divided into small amounts of elements (S4). The method further comprises the step of calculating the deformed amount of the mold by giving the resin pressure as a boundary condition to the simplified rigidity matrix (S5).
