PURPOSE: To provide a method for manufacturing a stretchable composite sheet having uniformly spreading pleats, which are derived from an extensible web, and feeling soft by bonding a stretchable sheet and the extensible sheet. CONSTITUTION: A raw web for obtaining the stretchable composite sheet is manufactured by bonding the stretchable web and the extensible sheet 2 at a large number of bonding parts 4 and subsequently extending the bonded web in one direction Y. The bonding parts 4, 4 positioned in close vicinity to each other in the Y-direction are formed so that one of them is superposed on the other one of them at least partially when parallely moved in the Y-direction. |
