PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a server for providing information which enable retrieval based upon a keyword of another language by using a key word of one language when information provided on a network is retrieved. SOLUTION: The 1st language keyword which is inputted at a client terminal 3 is received through the network 2 (step 9) and the 2nd language keyword corresponding to the received 1st language keyword is obtained (step 10) by referring to a dictionary database 173 in which the keyword of the 1st language and the key word of the 2nd language are related to each other and stored; and the client terminal 3 is requested to retrieve information from a specific retrieval server 4 according to the obtained keyword of the 2nd language (steps 12 and 13). |
